No Vacancy, the hotel pricing game
A sold-out sign feels like winning. Sometimes it means you sold too cheap.
Run a small hotel in the desert for five nights. Pick a price each night. See what is coming to town. Find out what your rooms were really worth.
Build Your Hotel
Make it look like yours. Or just hit start.
This is your floor. Sell a room for less, and you lose money on it.
Your Season
Five nights. One big thing is coming to town.
You will run five nights over two weeks. A quiet Tuesday. A Wednesday. A regular Saturday. Then the festival comes to town for Friday and Saturday. Each night is different, so give each one its own price.
Your score compares your profit to a hotel across the street. It starts at 100. Make more than they do, and it goes up.

What these numbers mean
- Rooms filled
- Out of all your rooms on all five nights, how many had a guest.
- Average price
- What a sold room went for, on average.
- Money per room, per night
- All the money you took in, split over every room, every night. Empty rooms count too. This is the best way to compare two hotels. Hotel people call it RevPAR.
- Across the street
- The same number for the other hotel.
- Money left on the table
- Money you could have made with better prices. It adds up rooms you sold early for less than they turned out to be worth, and full nights where you could have charged more.
